It is time to think about the Philippine Hosting Program again! Hand In Hand is recruiting interested families who are within reasonable driving distance of one of the Hand In Hand offices in Indiana, Florida and Colorado. With enough interest, programs in Minnesota and Arizona might be considered as well.
If a family sees a child or sibling group on the Special Home Find list (see here) whom they would like to host, contact Vickie at indiana@hihiadopt.org, and Hand In Hand will request to have that child added to the hosting program. Children do have to be at least 6 before ICAB will consider allowing them to travel overseas.
The Indiana orientation on November 8th (see details here) will include a family of seven who hosted a teenager in 2011 and are now home with their daughter, so you are welcome to come with your questions for those who have already adopted through this program.
