A PHILIPPINE CULTURE CAMP EXPERIENCE

 Mabuhay, Friends! We are excited to be contacting you about the ninth annual Camp Mabuhay Indiana that will be held on June 16th, 2012 at Kokomo Zion United Methodist Church in Kokomo, Indiana. The Camp Mabuhay Board, which consists of camp parents and various Filipino friends and organizations have been making preparations for a fun day at camp. This year’s theme is “Philippine Independence Day!” The Philippine Independence Day is celebrated annually on June 12th and is observed as a national holiday in the Philippines. This event commemorates the Philippine Declaration of Independence from Spain on June 12, 1898. Please come and join us in a day fun-filled Filipino culture camp.

The cost for camp this year is $15.00 per child (17 and under) and $20.00 per adult (18 and older). This fee includes a breakfast snack, activities of the day, lunch, and a souvenir t-shirt. Camp registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with camp beginning at 8:45. A breakfast snack will be served during registration. We were able to get a discounted rate again this year at Fairfield Inn in Kokomo. The rate is $63.00 per night and is good for Friday and Saturday.
