Family Needed Immediately!

MATCHED!! Today's Waiting Child Spotlight is on an unusually talented and dedicated child who could be hosted during the Philippines summer hosting program along with the other children already matched.  Out of many, MANY children's files, this is one of the few in which the child has specifically asked for parents who share both his dedication to academic success and his strong Christian values!   

CO was born on July 4, 2000.  He is noted to be one of the “most industrious children” of his institution. He had been found on the street when young, and has since wholeheartedly embraced his new life in a loving, Christian environment, learning to care for himself and his things, learning to positively interact with other children, and learning how to express affection for his caregivers. He is an organized child, taking care to see that his dormitory stays neat, and his care extends to his schoolwork, as he has the top scores in his whole school, and will take home advanced work, “determined to submit it the next day.” He is well-rounded, though, and likes to play outside, sing and dance, and he would like to learn to play the piano someday. He is a calm, kind person, respectful to adults, and good-natured with the other children. He wants to be a successful person, and dreams of becoming a pastor when he grows up. He says he wants a family with older or younger siblings and with God-fearing parents who will also value education very much.
